Lost River State Forest
Business Information
Located along the Canadian Border north of Hwy 11 running from Hwy 313 west to almost Hwy 89. Wildlife area, fishing, and hunting. The area’s 63,000 acres of primitive forest contains much of the original animal and plant life native to the area. It is a reliable location for viewing great gray owls and a number of other bird species; the best birding spot is the northernmost three miles of Hwy 310. There are no developed recreational areas but access is available to some parts by highway and county roads. Minimum maintenance roads, hiking forest trails. Snowmobiling.
